Black satin evening carryall, party case, vanity purse with a fitted gold interior. Pleat detail on the front with 4 little rhinestones. small flap over to fasten. 2 handles
There is a little pocket just infront of the compact section
The interior compact section is decorated with an engraved floral pattern. On one side is a section for powder that contains its sifter and traces of powder but no puff. There is a lipstick holder, and a cigarette or card case. The top part of the carryall has a mirror which is intact and clear. Below the mirror is a light fitting and switch. This does not light up so probably needs a new bulb or battery. Underneath the mirror is engraved Boite De Nuit Brevete SGDG - for PAT APPL - Made in France, Werber Paris.
It would seem that the compact has been rarely used if at all.
There are a few little marks and tiny snags on the bag exterior due to age. There are also small indentations to the satin fabric.
