The main bag is covered with black grosgrain and there is a detachable cover which is gold brocade on one side and blck velvet on the other.
The cover is attached with little clips.  These can sometimes be quite loose.
Gilt coloured frame and chain strap both of which do show signs of wear and tarnish.
There are several marks on the lining.
