1930s/40s needlepoint bag. The backgound colour is a tan brown and it has a pretty floral needlepoint design on the front and back.
The frame, clasp and chain strap are gilt coloured. There are 2 marcasites set into the frame. (There appear to be places for more stones but only 2 are present). It has a brown/red stone set into the clasp.
The inside is lined in ivory kid leather which does show some marks from use.
The bag measures 6.5" x 4.5" x 0.5".
It is in good vintage condition.
